Key stops in the game drive

ii) Watering Holes and Plains: Head to popular watering spots like Hippo Pools and Mbogo Waterhole.  A great spot for seeing hippos, buffalo and elephants as these water points attract many animals, especially early morning and late afternoon.
iii) Explore the Grasslands and Open plains of savannah where you can spot zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and Thompson’s gazelles.  This is good chance to see predators like lions and cheetahs resting or on the hunt.
iv) Stop at areas of Bird Watching Hotspots such as The Swamp and Hippo Pools.  Nairobi National Park is home to over 400 bird species including fish eagles, kingfishers and (seasonally) flamingos.
