1. Terms and Conditions 

• By booking with us, you agree to our terms of service.
• All reservations and bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Bakubung Adventures Travel Ltd.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations, airline or park fee adjustments.
• It is the client’s responsibility to ensure travel documents, vaccinations and insurance are valid before travel.
• Any changes or cancellations are subject to our cancellation policy.
• Bakubung Adventures Travel Ltd is not liable for delays, loss of personal items or circumstances beyond our control (force majeure).
• Minimum group size may apply; if not met, trips may be rescheduled or refunded.
• Disputes are governed by Kenyan law and resolved through arbitration/mediation.

2. Privacy Policy 

• We follow strict data protection measures to ensure your privacy
• We are committed to protecting your personal information.
• We collect only necessary data (such as your name, contact details and travel preferences) to process bookings efficiently.
• Your data will not be shared with third parties except those directly involved in providing your travel services.
• Clients may request access, correction or deletion of their data.
• Marketing communications are sent only with client consent.

3. Payment Policy

• A 40% deposit is required at booking as commitment fee for bookings made before 60 days of travel.
• Full payment (100%) is required in advance after 60 days to travel date before arrival.
• Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card or other agreed-upon methods.
• Payments are processed in KES/USD; transaction fees are borne by the client.
• Late payments may result in cancellation or forfeiture of deposit.
• Official receipts are issued for all payments.

     a) Suppliers

• All suppliers will be paid once they issue an ETR/Etims receipt.
• The suppliers should sent invoices with payment details.

b) Customers

• The clients will be issued an Etims receipt upon request, once the payment is fully done.
• The client should only pay to the company bank accounts and not personal numbers.

4. Refund Policy

• All refund requests must be made in writing.
• Refund processing turn around time is subject to supplier policies.
• Refunds amounts depend on the cancellation timeline and supplier policies.
• Refunds are processed via the same channel as payment (bank, M-Pesa, card).
• If a cancellation is made within the refundable period, we will process the refund less any applicable charges. Some services (like flight tickets or last-minute bookings) may be non-refundable.

5. Cancellations terms

     All cancellations must be received in writing within the cancellation terms listed here-    

     below.

• Cancellations are only effective on written acknowledgement received from Bakubung Adventures Travel Ltd
• Bakubung Adventures Travel Ltd reserves the right to change, amend or retract any of these terms and Conditions from time to time at their sole discretion.

• Full refund is done without cancellation fee if booking is cancelled before 60 days to travel date.
• Clients may request rescheduling or transfer of bookings to another traveler (subject to approval in writing within a notice period of 21 working days and terms and conditions).

Before travelling:

• Ensure your passport has sufficient validity for international travel.
• Confirm any entry or visa requirements for your destination.
• Consider obtaining travel insurance to cover unforeseen events.
• For trips involving outdoor activities, pack appropriately and adhere to all local regulations and guidelines.
• Respect local culture, wildlife, and group harmony.
• Emergency contact details will be provided before departure.
